Gentle and yin yoga is a class designed for those who want to take their yoga at a slower pace whilst still maintaining strength, mobility and flexibility. Perfect for the more mature student, those with additional health concerns or for those who just want take their yoga a little bit slower. We inevitably tighten with age so practising yin yoga helps us to create space in the body by working with the deep connective tissue called fascia. We hold the poses for a few minutes as we practise meditation. We use pillows, bolsters, cushions, blankets, and blocks to prop yourself into the pose without having to exert any effort. If you come regularly at the same time slot by booking in advance you can get to know members of your local community and every four weeks you are invited to stay for tea and biscuits after class to get to know some new friends ❤️.
You can cancel a session and have a credit to your account anytime within 12 hours of the start of class.
