Take a mini retreat once every two weeks with yin yoga and journalling to focus on what you want to create in your life - just for you. We use journalling prompts to help step away from habitual ways of thinking and create changes. Yin yoga involves poses to help you deeply relax and let go of tension you may be holding in your body. We inevitably tighten with age so practising yin yoga helps us to create space in the body by working with the deep connective tissue called fascia. We hold the poses for a few minutes as we practise meditation and through the use of bolsters, cushions, blankets and blocks to prop yourself into the pose you don’t have to exert any effort. As we create space in the body we begin to create space in the mood to look at where we might sometime get “stuck” and consider what we might like to do differently. These classes are in Shirley near Southampton Common. You will receive joining instructions upon booking.
