Never is there a better time to commit to a yoga practice than during pregnancy.

This class is to help you manage the aches and pains around being pregnant along with helping you find ease as your body changes shape. You will practise poses to prepare you for birthing and explore how your body likes to move. We also look at how good breathing can support you along with mindfulness techniques which can help with anxiety and help you stay present.

In our modern age pregnancy is an insanely noisy time as you are bombarded with information and opinion about pregnancy and birthing. With so many experts, blogs, podcasts and advice on demand it’s easy to doubt yourself and your inner knowing. Your body is perfectly designed to have a baby and there is an innate wisdom that resides within you that will guide you there if you pause to listen.

There's a beautiful quote "It takes a village to raise a child" so by coming regularly you can connect with a community of sisters sharing this exciting time in your life with you.

These classes are held at St James Road in Shirley with an on site cafe - Make and Brew for you to hang out afterwards and make new friends.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS GOOD ON SITE PARKING AND YOU DO HAVE TO BRING YOUR OWN YOGA MAT AND CUSHIONS IF YOU HAVE THEM AVAILABLE. I have a limited supply of mats you can borrow if you are coming by public transport but please do message me in advance if you need one.

This class is held at St James Road Methodist Church in Shirley

Birth preparation for couples

Saturday 15th November 11-1pm    £40

Expecting Couple

This experiential yoga and breathing workshop is designed especially for couples preparing to welcome their baby. It’s a dedicated time for you and your birth partner to slow down, connect, and explore practical tools to support a more confident and calm birthing experience. Through gentle yoga postures and guided breathwork, you’ll learn how movement and breathing can ease discomfort, encourage progress in labour, and help you stay grounded. We’ll also explore the powerful role hormones play in birth and how you can work with them—not against them—to support your body’s natural rhythm.

More than just techniques, this workshop is about building trust and understanding between you and your partner. Together, you’ll discover ways they can support you—physically, emotionally, and practically—during labour in a way that truly meets your needs. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to birth, and this is your chance to create a plan that feels personal, empowering, and unique to your journey. Whether it’s through breath, touch, words, or presence, your partner will leave with the confidence to support you in the ways that matter most.

"It was really helpful and informative and made me feel quite excited for labour! I loved how it was focused on practical stuff we can put into use on the day. My partner also found it really helpful and we’ve had some good follow up conversations about how we can be a team on the day and how he can support me".
